Sizing & fit
- Weigh the dog — the seat is intended for dogs under ~30 lbs.
- Measure the dog’s length: from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail (not including the tail).
- Measure chest girth: wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Fit guideline: when the dog is sitting in the seat, allow about 2–4 inches of free space in front and to the sides so the pet can sit or curl comfortably. If the dog is near the 30 lb limit or is long/tall-bodied, double-check these measurements to ensure comfort.
If the dog meets the weight guideline and the length/chest measurements leave a couple inches of clearance when seated, this car seat provides a secure, comfortable fit.
